Uses: As one of the raw materials for organic synthesis, furfuryl alcohol can be used to produce acetyl lactose and furan resins with various properties. As a selective solvent, dispersant and lubricant are used in furfuryl alcohol resin, silt-formaldehyde resin and phenolic resin, etc. Hydrogenation can produce tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol. Also a good solvent for varnishes, pigments and rocket fuel. Also used in synthetic fibers, rubber, pesticides and foundry industries. At the same time, it can manufacture plasticizers, and its cold resistance is better than that of butanol and octanol esters. Production of calcium fructonate. Synthesize dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates, manufacture chemical intermediates, and make pyridine.
